About Garage Coffee
Our Story
Three years ago, we wanted to create a place that would allow our
neighbors to gather and connect. Having roasted our own beans for
several years, we cherish a good cup of coffee but we love sharing it
even more. So we built a little coffee cart and began serving coffee
out of our garage, free of charge. Every Saturday from Memorial Day
to Labor Day, we roll up our garage door and offer coffee and
conversation to neighbors, friends and even strangers. Due to word of
mouth, it has grown beyond our neighborhood into the larger
community. We have seen neighbors learn each other’s names,
share stories, help each other with projects and care for each others’
yards and plants when they are away. Our community has grown
closer and stronger because of it. Our little idea has also grown into a
passion in our hearts to help our town connect and thrive and we
desire to open a store front in order to enhance and grow our
opportunity to help our residents connect to each other in a deeper,
more meaningful way. We hope and pray these relationships open
opportunities to cultivate a stronger more vibrant community.
